- 1 small yellow onion, diced

- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 8 lasagna noodles, broken into bite-sized pieces
Finishing Touches:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
Instructions
- Saute Aromatics: In a large pot, sauté onion in olive oil until soft. Add garlic, then brown the sausage or chicken.
- Add Seasonings and Broth: Stir in basil, oregano, pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Pour in broth and water, bring to a boil.
- Cook Noodles: Add lasagna noodles, cook until tender.
