Ingredients
Scale
Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 3 jalapeños, seeded and finely chopped
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
Additional Ingredients:
- 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
- ¼ cup ranch dressing (optional for dipping)
Instructions
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack, jalapeños, bacon, green onions, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
- Assemble Pinwheels: Spread about ¼ of the mixture evenly over each tortilla. Roll up the tortillas tightly and place them seam-side down. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to firm up.
- Slice and Serve: Slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels using a sharp knife. Arrange on a serving platter and serve chilled or at room temperature with ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
Notes
- You can adjust the heat level by leaving in some jalapeño seeds or using pickled jalapeños for a tangy kick.
- For a lighter version, use low-fat cream cheese and turkey bacon.
- These pinwheels can be made up to 24 hours in advance and stored in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
