Toppings:
- 16 soft caramel candies (unwrapped)
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the dough: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a dough forms.
- Shape and bake: Roll dough into balls, coat in pecans, press a thumbprint in the center, and bake for 10–12 minutes.
- Prepare toppings: Melt caramels with cream and fill cookie centers. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the cookies.
