Description

These Turkey Breakfast Patties are a delicious and protein-packed way to start your day. Served with creamy avocado and a perfectly cooked egg, this breakfast is both satisfying and nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale

Turkey Patties:

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Additional Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ripe avocado, sliced
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish
  • Optional hot sauce for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare Turkey Patties: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Form into 8 small patties.
  2. Cook Turkey Patties: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.
  3. Cook Eggs: In the same skillet, cook eggs to your preference.
  4. Assemble: Place two patties on a plate, top with a cooked egg, avocado slices, and herbs. Serve with hot sauce if desired.

Notes

  • You can make the patties ahead and store them in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
  • For a lighter option, use cooking spray instead of olive oil to cook the eggs.
  • These patties pair well with sautéed spinach or roasted sweet potatoes.
