Description

These delicious Sausage, Egg, and Cheese Breakfast Roll-Ups are a perfect way to start your day with a satisfying and flavorful breakfast. Combining fluffy scrambled eggs, savory breakfast sausage, and gooey cheddar cheese, all wrapped up in buttery crescent roll dough, these roll-ups are easy to make and great for a grab-and-go breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Eggs:

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Filling:

  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage (cooked and crumbled)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 can (8 ounces) refrigerated crescent roll dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Egg Mixture: In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper. Melt butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the egg mixture and cook, stirring occasionally, until just set. Remove from heat and stir in the cooked sausage and shredded cheese.
  3. Assemble Roll-Ups: Unroll the crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles. Place a spoonful of the egg mixture onto the wide end of each triangle. Carefully roll up the dough, enclosing the filling, and place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake: Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For a make-ahead option, cook the sausage and eggs the night before and assemble in the morning.
  • You can use turkey sausage or plant-based alternatives.
  • Add diced bell peppers or spinach for extra nutrition.
