Description

Delight in the perfect fusion of summer’s favorite peach cobbler and classic cinnamon rolls with these Peach Cobbler Cinnamon Rolls. Soft, tender dough filled with a fragrant cinnamon-pecan-spiced peach mixture, topped with crunchy graham cracker crumbs and finished with a luscious vanilla glaze, making them an irresistible breakfast or dessert treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Dough

  • 3½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 packet (2¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 large eggs

For the Filling

  • 2 cups fresh or canned peaches (peeled and diced)
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

For the Topping

  • ½ cup crumbled graham crackers
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter

For the Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2–3 tablespoons milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt. Add warm milk, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until combined, then gradually add the remaining flour until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Make the Filling: While the dough rises, mix diced peaches, brown sugar, cinnamon, all-purpose flour, and melted butter in a bowl until well combined. Set aside to allow flavors to meld.
  3. Roll Out the Dough: Once the dough has risen, punch it down gently and roll it into a 16×12-inch rectangle on a lightly floured surface, creating an even layer ready for filling.
  4. Assemble the Rolls: Spread the peach filling evenly over the rolled-out dough. Starting from the long side, roll up the dough tightly into a log. Using a sharp knife, slice the log into 12 even rolls.
  5. Second Rise: Place the rolls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, spaced slightly apart. Cover and let them rise for another 30–40 minutes until puffy.
  6. Preheat and Prepare Topping: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a small bowl, combine crumbled graham crackers, brown sugar, and melted butter. Sprinkle this mixture evenly on top of the risen rolls.
  7. Bake: Bake the rolls in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until the tops are golden brown and the rolls are fully cooked through.
  8. Make the Glaze: While the rolls bake, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract in a small bowl until smooth and pourable.
  9. Finish and Serve: Remove the rolls from the oven, allow them to cool slightly, then drizzle the vanilla glaze generously over the warm rolls before serving.

Notes

  • You can use canned peaches if fresh ones aren’t in season—just be sure to drain them well before mixing.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg to the filling for an extra warm spice note.
  • For make-ahead convenience, prepare the rolls up to the second rise, cover, and refrigerate overnight. Bring to room temperature before baking.
