Ingredients
Scale
Main Ingredients
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 (3 oz) package orange gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1 teaspoon orange extract (optional, for extra flavor)
- Orange food coloring (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to easily lift the fudge out once set.
- Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat immediately.
- Add Orange Gelatin: Quickly stir in the orange gelatin powder and orange extract (if using) until completely dissolved and the color is uniform. For a deeper orange hue, add a few drops of orange food coloring and mix well.
- Incorporate Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract thoroughly to blend all flavors together evenly.
- Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Allow it to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the fudge is firm. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift it from the pan, then cut into 36 small squares and serve.
Notes
- For a swirled effect, reserve ½ cup of the white fudge mixture before adding the orange gelatin. After pouring the orange fudge into the pan, swirl the reserved white fudge on top using a toothpick.
- Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week to maintain freshness.
