Description

Delight in the creamy, citrus-infused Orange Dreamsicle Fudge, a simple no-bake dessert combining smooth white chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and tangy orange gelatin to create a nostalgic treat perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

Main Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (3 oz) package orange gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to easily lift the fudge out once set.
  2. Melt Chocolate Mixture: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture becomes smooth. Remove from heat immediately.
  3. Add Orange Gelatin: Quickly stir in the orange gelatin powder and orange extract (if using) until completely dissolved and the color is uniform. For a deeper orange hue, add a few drops of orange food coloring and mix well.
  4. Incorporate Vanilla: Stir in the vanilla extract thoroughly to blend all flavors together evenly.
  5. Set the Fudge: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Allow it to cool at room temperature for 15 minutes before transferring to the refrigerator.
  6. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours until the fudge is firm. Use the parchment paper overhang to lift it from the pan, then cut into 36 small squares and serve.

Notes

  • For a swirled effect, reserve ½ cup of the white fudge mixture before adding the orange gelatin. After pouring the orange fudge into the pan, swirl the reserved white fudge on top using a toothpick.
  • Store fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week to maintain freshness.
