Description

Meatballs:

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Additional:

  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for topping)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Make the meatballs: In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, parsley, egg, salt, and pepper. Form into meatballs.
  3. Brown the meatballs: Brown the meatballs in olive oil in a skillet.
  4. Bake: Pour marinara sauce over the meatballs, bake for 15 minutes, then top with cheeses and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  5. Serve: Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
