- 24 whole white button mushrooms

For the Filling
- 1 (4-oz) can diced jalapeños, drained
- 1 (8-oz) package cream cheese, softened
- ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ pound bacon, cooked and chopped
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Line a rimmed baking sheet with foil and place a baking rack on top. This setup will help the mushrooms cook evenly without sitting in excess grease.
- Prepare Mushrooms: Remove the stems from the white button mushrooms carefully to create hollow caps for stuffing. Set the caps aside.
- Make Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, minced garlic, drained diced jalapeños, shredded cheddar cheese, and the cooked, chopped bacon. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated into a creamy filling.
- Stuff Mushrooms: Spoon the cream cheese mixture generously into each mushroom cap, filling them completely but without overflow. Place the stuffed mushrooms on the prepared baking rack on the baking sheet.
