Seasoning:
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Optional Toppings:
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Prepare Potatoes: Wash and dry the potatoes. Slice thin slits across the top of each potato, being careful not to cut all the way through.
- Make Seasoning: In a bowl, mix melted butter, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Coat Potatoes: Place potatoes on a baking sheet and brush with the butter mixture, ensuring it gets into the slits.
- Bake: Bake for 45-55 minutes, basting occasionally, until golden and tender.
- Optional: Add Parmesan in the last 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
