- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/2 cup dry red wine
- 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the Bolognese Sauce: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef, onion, carrots, and celery. Cook until browned. Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes. Add tomato paste, red wine, crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil. Simmer.
- Finish the Sauce: Pour in milk and simmer until creamy. Meanwhile, cook gnocchi according to package directions; drain and add to the sauce. Stir in Parmesan.
