Ingredients
Scale
Knots
- 2 (6-oz) cans flaky buttermilk biscuits (10 total biscuits)
Garlic Butter Topping
- 3 Tbsp butter, melted
- ¼ tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (or to taste)
- 3 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400ºF (200ºC) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper to prepare for baking.
- Shape the Knots: Take each biscuit and roll it into a 12-inch rope. Tie each rope into a knot and tuck the ends underneath to secure. Place the knots about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the Knots: Bake the knots in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and cooked through.
- Prepare Garlic Butter Mixture: While the knots bake, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes in a small bowl.
- Brush and Finish: As soon as the knots come out of the oven and are still warm, brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture. Sprinkle the knots with grated Parmesan cheese and serve immediately for the best flavor and texture.
Notes
- For a softer texture, cover the baked knots loosely with foil for a few minutes before serving.
- You can adjust the amount of red pepper flakes depending on your spice preference.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor.
- Serve these knots warm to enjoy their soft, buttery texture.
- They pair wonderfully with pasta dishes, soups, or salads.
