Garlic Butter Mixture:

- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 425°F.
- Prepare Potatoes: Wash and dry the potatoes. Slice each potato thinly across the top, about 1/8 inch apart, without cutting all the way through.
- Make Garlic Butter Mixture: In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Coat Potatoes: Brush the garlic butter mixture over the potatoes, ensuring it gets between the slices.
- Bake: Bake for 45–55 minutes, basting with more garlic butter occasionally.
- Add Topping: In the last 10 minutes, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the potatoes and bake until golden and crispy.
- Garnish and Serve: Garnish with parsley before serving.
