Ingredients
Scale
Frozen Mint Lemonade:
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4–6 lemons)
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves (packed)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or to taste)
- 2 cups cold water
- 3 cups ice cubes
- lemon slices and mint sprigs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, and cold water. Blend for 15–20 seconds until the mint is finely chopped and the sugar is mostly dissolved.
- Add the ice and blend again until smooth and slushy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs if desired.
- Serve immediately while icy and refreshing.
Notes
- For a lower-sugar version, use honey or maple syrup instead of sugar.
- You can also make this ahead by blending all ingredients except the ice and freezing in ice cube trays—just re-blend with a little water when ready to serve.
