Description

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

For the filling:

  • 1 large egg
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 2/3 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin.
  2. Make the crust: Beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Mix in the flour to form a soft dough. Divide into 24 portions and press into mini muffin cups.
  3. Prepare the filling: Whisk together egg, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and chopped pecans. Fill each crust.
  4. Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden and set. Cool before serving.
