For the Chicken:
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cubed
For Serving:
- 6 sandwich buns
- 1/4 cup ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing
- Optional toppings: coleslaw, sliced pickles, extra dressing, or crumbled blue cheese
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Cook the Chicken: Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours until tender.
- Serve: Fill sandwich buns with the chicken and desired toppings.
Pour buffalo wing sauce and chicken broth over the chicken. Sprinkle with garlic powder and add butter cubes.
Shred chicken using two forks in the crockpot, then stir in ranch or blue cheese dressing.
