Description

For the Beef:

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the Pasta:

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz uncooked bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Beef: In a skillet, sear beef stew meat until browned. Transfer to the crockpot.
  2. Cook the Beef: Add onion, garlic, seasonings, diced tomatoes, soup, and broth to the crockpot. Cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  3. Cook the Pasta: Cook bowtie pasta separately, then add to the crockpot along with cheese. Let sit until cheese melts.
  4. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of celery or cream of onion if preferred.
  • Add peas or chopped spinach at the end for extra veggies.
