Description

A comforting and hearty beef and pasta dish cooked to perfection in a crockpot. Tender beef simmered in a savory sauce with bowtie pasta and melted cheese, creating a satisfying meal for the whole family.

Beef Stew:

  • 1 1/2 pounds beef stew meat
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Seasonings:

  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Sauce and Pasta:

  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 8 oz uncooked bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Sear Beef: In a skillet, brown beef stew meat in olive oil.
  2. Prepare Crockpot: Transfer beef to crockpot, add onion, garlic, seasonings, diced tomatoes, soup, and broth. Stir.
  3. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
  4. Cook Pasta: Cook pasta separately, then add to crockpot along with cheese. Let cheese melt.
  5. Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

  • Substitute cream of mushroom soup with cream of celery or onion.
