  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 3½ to 4 cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Beat Cream Cheese and Butter: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and butter together on medium speed until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add Flavorings: Add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.
  3. Gradually Add Sugar: Gradually beat in the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until the frosting reaches your desired sweetness and consistency.
