Ingredients
Banana Chips:
- 2 ripe but firm bananas
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (melted)
Cinnamon-Sugar Mixture:
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Prepare the Banana Chips: Peel the bananas and slice them into ¼-inch thick rounds.
- Make the Cinnamon-Sugar Coating: In a small bowl, mix together the sugar, cinnamon, and salt.
- Air Fry the Banana Chips: Arrange the slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crisp.
In a bowl, gently toss the banana slices with melted coconut oil.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the banana slices and toss lightly to coat.
Let the chips cool completely—they will continue to crisp as they cool. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
Notes
- For an extra crispy texture, slice the bananas slightly thinner and extend cooking time by a few minutes, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Great as a topping for yogurt or oatmeal!
