  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional, for shine)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownies: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch or 9×9-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it. Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to package directions. Allow brownies to cool completely in the pan.
  2. Layer Strawberries: Once cooled, layer the sliced strawberries evenly over the top of the brownies, ensuring full coverage for the best flavor distribution.
  3. Make Ganache: In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, heat the heavy cream until just simmering. Pour the hot cream over the semi-sweet chocolate chips in a heatproof bowl. Let sit for 1–2 minutes to melt, then stir gently until the mixture is smooth and glossy. Stir in butter if using, to give the ganache an extra shiny finish.
  4. Top Brownies With Ganache: Pour the chocolate ganache over the strawberry layer and spread evenly with a spatula, covering all the strawberries and brownies beneath.
  5. Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the assembled brownies for at least 1 hour or until the ganache is fully set. When ready, slice into squares and serve chilled or at room temperature.
