  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup beef broth or water
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Marinate the Beef: Toss the sliced flank steak with cornstarch and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
  2. Prepare Sauce: Whisk together remaining soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and beef broth.
  3. Stir-Fry: Heat oil, stir-fry broccoli, then brown beef in batches. Add garlic, ginger, and sauce. Cook until heated through.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
