- 8 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Alfredo Sauce
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 pint (2 cups) heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Prepare Oven and Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking pan with cooking spray and set aside to prevent sticking.
- Cook Noodles: Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain them and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process. Lay the noodles flat on paper towels to absorb any excess moisture.
- Make Alfredo Sauce: In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Whisk continuously until melted and smooth. Stir in minced garlic, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Keep whisking until fully combined.
- Simmer Sauce: Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Bring it to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Layer Sauce in Pan: Pour 1 cup of the Alfredo sauce into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly to coat the bottom.
- Assemble Roll-Ups: Spread 2 tablespoons of Alfredo sauce over each lasagna noodle, then evenly distribute 2 tablespoons of shredded chicken on top, followed by about 3 tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Roll Noodles: Carefully roll each lasagna noodle up and place each roll seam-side down in the prepared pan. Repeat until all noodles are rolled and placed in the pan.
- Top with Sauce and Cheese: Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the rolled noodles. Sprinkle the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake: Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the dish is heated through.
