For the Casserole:
- 3 cups peeled and diced potatoes
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Prepare the Casserole Mixture: In a bowl, mix sour cream, mushroom soup, milk, and 1 cup of cheese. Add potatoes and cooked beef.
- Bake: Transfer mixture to baking dish, cover with foil, and bake for 45 minutes. Uncover, top with remaining cheese, and bake for another 15 minutes.
- Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
