Description

A savory and indulgent Cajun Lobster, Crab, and Salmon Alfredo combining rich seafood flavors with creamy homemade Alfredo sauce, enhanced by a touch of Cajun spice. Perfect for a special dinner that balances delicate seafood with a spicy, creamy twist.

Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 8 oz fettuccine or linguine pasta

Seafood

  • 1 salmon fillet (6 oz, skin removed and cut into chunks)
  • 1 cup lump crab meat (drained)
  • 1 small lobster tail (meat removed and chopped)

Sauce and Seasonings

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (plus more to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Garnish

  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine or linguine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Drain the pasta and set it aside to use later.
  2. Sear the Salmon: Heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the salmon chunks lightly with Cajun seasoning. Sear the salmon for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set it aside.
  3. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in 1½ cups of heavy cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese, ½ teaspoon paprika, ¼ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, and 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning. Whisk continuously until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes.
  4. Add Seafood and Pasta: Gently fold the drained crab meat and chopped lobster tail into the Alfredo sauce to warm them through. Return the cooked salmon pieces to the skillet along with the drained pasta. Toss everything gently to ensure the seafood and pasta are well coated with the creamy sauce.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle chopped parsley over the dish and add a squeeze of fresh lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately while hot for the best flavor experience.

Notes

  • Use pre-cooked crab and lobster meat for convenience and faster preparation.
  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning according to your preferred level of spiciness.
  • This rich and creamy dish pairs wonderfully with garlic bread or a crisp green side salad for balance.
