Ingredients
Scale
Sliders
- 12 Hawaiian slider rolls, sliced in half horizontally
- 6 large eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- 8 slices cooked bacon, chopped
- 6 breakfast sausage links, cooked and sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Topping
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional chopped chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and arrange the bottom halves of the Hawaiian slider rolls evenly in the dish.
- Mix and Scramble Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined. Pour the mixture into a nonstick skillet over medium heat and scramble the eggs gently until just set but still moist.
- Assemble Sliders: Layer the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom slider buns. Then add the chopped bacon and sliced sausage on top of the eggs. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses evenly over the meat.
- Top and Butter Rolls: Place the top halves of the slider rolls over the cheese and fillings. In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with garlic powder, then brush this mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake Covered and Uncovered: Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes until the tops become golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the sliders from the oven, garnish with chopped chives if desired, and serve warm for a satisfying breakfast treat.
