Ingredients
Scale
Buns
- 12 slider buns or Hawaiian rolls
Egg Mixture
- 6 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter
Meat & Cheese
- 8 slices cooked bacon, cut in halves
- 6 breakfast sausage patties, cooked and halved
- 6 slices cheddar cheese, cut in halves
Butter Topping
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F to prepare for baking the sliders.
- Prepare Buns: Slice the slider buns in half horizontally and arrange the bottom halves evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish to form the base layer.
- Mix Egg Batter: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well blended.
- Scramble Eggs: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and scramble gently until the eggs are just set but still moist.
- Layer Ingredients: Spread the scrambled eggs evenly over the bottom bun halves in the baking dish. Next, layer the halved bacon strips and the halved sausage patties on top of the eggs. Then place the halved cheddar cheese slices over the meats for a melty finish.
- Add Top Buns: Place the top halves of the slider buns over the assembled layers to close the sliders.
- Butter the Tops: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with the garlic powder and dried parsley. Brush this flavorful butter mixture generously over the tops of the slider buns.
- Bake Covered: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. This allows the cheese to melt and ingredients to warm through.
- Bake Uncovered: Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the slider tops are golden brown and slightly crisp.
- Serve Warm: Remove from oven and serve the breakfast sliders warm for a hearty and satisfying meal.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute turkey bacon or plant-based sausage.
- Try using pepper jack or Swiss cheese for a different flavor twist.
- These sliders can be made ahead of time and reheated in the morning for convenience.
