  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

For the Filling:

  • 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup blackberry preserves or jam
  • 1 ½ cups fresh blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Make the Crust: Mix graham cracker crumbs, ¼ cup sugar, and melted butter. Press into a 9-inch springform pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream. Pour half the batter into the crust, add half of the blackberry preserves, swirl, repeat with remaining batter and preserves.
  4. Bake: Bake for 55-65 minutes until almost set. Cool in the oven, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Serve: Top with fresh blackberries and powdered sugar before serving.
