Ingredients
Scale
For the Wraps
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
For the Special Sauce
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
- 1 teaspoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, drain excess fat, and set aside.
- Prepare the Special Sauce: While the beef is cooking, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl until well combined.
- Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable, making them easier to fold and roll.
- Assemble the Wraps: Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of special sauce down the center of each tortilla. Layer shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, chopped onion, and a scoop of the cooked beef on top.
- Roll the Wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll up tightly into a wrap to encase the filling securely.
- Serve or Toast: Serve immediately, or for extra crispness, toast each wrap seam-side down in a skillet for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned.
Notes
- Add sliced tomatoes or a second layer of sauce for extra flavor.
- These wraps can also be made into lettuce wraps for a low-carb version.
- The special sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
