Description

These Big Mac Wraps are a delicious twist on the classic burger, wrapped in a soft tortilla and packed with seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, pickles, onions, and a signature special sauce. Perfect for a quick and satisfying dinner, they combine all the favorite flavors of a Big Mac in a convenient, handheld form.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Wraps

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced pickles
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion

For the Special Sauce

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Cook the Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, drain excess fat, and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Special Sauce: While the beef is cooking, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, sweet pickle relish, white vinegar, garlic powder, and onion powder in a small bowl until well combined.
  3. Warm the Tortillas: Heat the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until soft and pliable, making them easier to fold and roll.
  4. Assemble the Wraps: Spread 1 to 2 tablespoons of special sauce down the center of each tortilla. Layer shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, diced pickles, chopped onion, and a scoop of the cooked beef on top.
  5. Roll the Wraps: Fold in the sides of each tortilla and roll up tightly into a wrap to encase the filling securely.
  6. Serve or Toast: Serve immediately, or for extra crispness, toast each wrap seam-side down in a skillet for 1 to 2 minutes until lightly browned.

Notes

  • Add sliced tomatoes or a second layer of sauce for extra flavor.
  • These wraps can also be made into lettuce wraps for a low-carb version.
  • The special sauce can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.
